We were in transit to Larvik, Norway and had an overnight stay here before embarking the next morning. The journey to Northern Denmark took a long time due to very bad weather, so we arrived much later than expected.
The owner was still awake when we arrived at the accommodation very late. We'll be coming in soon, the owner said when I called him much earlier in the evening to say that we would arrive late due to the bad weather. And the next morning when we left we were able to close the door behind us. There was no need to lock the door.
